I had the same issue, with marriage.
Put the dice
Select marriage
Then instead of clicking on the TOWN you want, click on Confirm in the bar. (Give option Confirm - Cancel)

I think the confirm button should not be there, and the message should say "Select a town to perform marriage/diplomatic or (CANCEL)"

Same issue, had it happen multiple times when taking the Green die action and trying to move up on multiple tracks as well as move up on initiative.

This error happened to me also in Signorie. In this game at move #107:

I'm playing as BCV, as first move in the round I wanted to take the gray '4' die for the Signoria action. I got the "Internal Error. That should not hav happened." message. The message came after hitting "Execute".

This was in Chrome. I tried to log out, log in. No difference. I started Firefox, same error.

Other players agreed to leave the gray '4' die for the next turn for me. But after several moves it still wasn't possible to take the die. That round I couldn't play the "Diplomatic Mission" action.

Same problem with marriage I place the dice and to perform the action. And the internal error message came out.

ok, I found a workaround..... after selecting the gray die instead of clicking on the icon for the Signorie action on my player mat... I clicked on the "Signorie" button at the top of the page above game board!! That worked!

I'm also not sure if this helps but all gray 3 dice were 4's

Well it's happening again.... this time with red action... can't do the marriage action... workaround didn't help this time. also interesting is both dice are a '4' again (but red instead of gray ones)... I tried tab/control-R reload no go.

I selected the green dice, chose the signoria action, moved on a career track and on the initiative track, and it can't proceed. Tried on Firefox and on Chrome as well.

I clicked on the '4' die, clicked 'Signorie' and then got the message.
