There were some shenanigans being done by a player to take both the first player marker AND a tile not from the center. There were 3 players. The first player took a tile, the second player then took a tile from the center taking both the piece and the first player token, returned it, then took a piece from a circle and somehow still retained the first player token. When it got to my first turn there were 5 pieces in the middle and no first player token which is literally impossible in the rules.
