Suggestion: in my opinion, the following would greatly improve the game implementation

• Please explain your suggestion precisely and concisely so that it's as easy as possible to understand what you mean.
Older instructions for Exploding Kittens (such as web.archive.org/web/20210704033022id_/https://dumekj556jp75.cloudfront.net/exploding-kittens/English.pdf) had a rule that allowed players to play 5 different cards and then gain whatever card they wanted, provided it had previously been discarded.
I wanted to propose adding that as optional rule, similar to the risk-o-meter and other special combos• What is your browser?

It has been removed in the new edition, and afaik BGA version is based on the new edition.

@ufm is right, the latest rules do not include this 5 card combo. That is why it is not available on BGA.
