There were only two Discovery tiles available on the first major step of the Avenue of the Dead. After the game, I wondered if you just put two tiles because it was a two-player game (which is wrong, there should still be a choice of three tiles), or if it was just a mistake. If it was the former, you made have done the same thing on the Red Temple track, but I didn’t think to check it at the time.

Not exactly, but if you look at the image posted below you can see that all of the Tiles are gone from the first AotD major step, which should not be possible in a two-player game.
