Detailed description

• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if any.
The team is supposed to collectively decide the direction of pass. By having the commander make this choice, possibly while some people are offline or with players who don't speak the same language, this takes away from the cooperative intention of this choice. Give all players a "prefer to pass left" and "prefer to pass right" button so the commander gets the preference information from all other players then makes the ultimate choice (even overriding the majority would be okay) after all players have responded in the game interface.

Report history
And the suggestion does not seem correct since most of time turn is obvious depending on the mission.
Asking other players will delay a lot, specially in turn base game, for a not that great improvement.
There are two very important pieces of information missing from the distress signal.
1. Who asked for it?
- this is supposed to be a vote, its something the group gets to decide to use - as a group.
It should be something where you can suggest to request for Distress signal, but not automatically use it.
2. Direction should be discussed.
- this is also supposed to be a vote, per the way it works at the table. The group is supposed to decide as a group which way to pass.
There should be a way to indicate direction preference, before the captain decides.
If the concern is that this will delay the game too much. This could be set as a game option on the setup page. Since some groups may prefer discussion delay times more than others.
