The dialog box appeared to inform me that a voice chat was initiated at the game table. I hit cancel, but the game hung up and kept telling me that the action was being logged and the red bar of "not your turn, yet" appeared on the top of my screen.
I eventually accepted the chat and muted my mic to get into the game. After that, the program let me take my normal turns.
