English summary: this looks to be a case of regional / family dependent rule variants.
I would love to hear opinions about if it is important enough to add more game options for this.
For me, the jokers just always add extra fun to the game so not much point to have an option to leave them out.
Hi RuizNL, ik denk dat we deze discussie best even in het Nederlands voeren :)
De jokers zijn er uiteraard opzettelijk mee ingestoken, ik heb leren Klaverjassen van mijn Nederlandse grootmoeder en vader, die al generaties Rotterdams speelden. (Alleen 1 broer die verhuisd was en met slechte vrienden in contact gekomen was Amsterdams beginnen spelen ;)
Klaverjassen werd daar altijd met draaistapel met jokers gespeeld, en het team dat een joker kreeg moest zelfs extra geld in het potje gooien voor dat voordeel (dat ook een nadeel kon zijn natuurlijk)
Dus ik ken zeker verschillende Rotterdams spelers die het als een bug zouden beschouwen en revolteren als de jokers er niet in zitten.
Dit lijkt me dus meer een geval van regionale / familiale verschillen.
Of heb je echt een referentie naar officiële regels waar expliciet in staat dat de Joker er niet mag in zitten?
En is dat dan echt alleen bij het Rotterdams, dus in geval van Amsterdams met draaistapel zouden ze er dan wel bij zitten?
De jokers zorgen in mijn ogen altijd voor extra plezier, zowel als je eindelijk eens zelf troef mag kiezen met jouw goeie kleur als wanneer je tegenstander verplicht wordt te kiezen met een slechte kaart en recht in jouw kleur kiest :) Of andersom natuurlijk, daar moet je dan ook mee kunnen leven.
Ik zou in ieder geval nooit reden zien om ze weg te laten.
We zouden uiteraard nog een extra spel optie kunnen toevoegen om bij gebruik van draaistapel ook nog eens te kiezen om met of zonder jokers te spelen.
Maar ik wil het opstarten van een spel ook niet nodeloos overladen met te veel opties.
Dus ik zou ook graag andere meningen horen hierover?
Bedankt voor de snelle reactie. Ik was werkelijk van mening dat het een fout in het spel was, maar ben er na een middagje onderzoek achter gekomen dat de spelregels van Klaverjassen inderdaad nergens echt vast liggen en per regio / spelgenootschap verschillen. Zelf speel ik altijd zonder jokers, met wie ik ook samen speel. Zo ook tijdens klaverjastoernooien in mijn geboorteplaats waar altijd zonder jokers gespeeld werd. Daardoor was ik van mening dat het een fout was, maar nu blijkt dat ik gewoon niet beter wist en er veel meer mogelijkheden zijn met Klaverjassen omdat er dus geen hard reglement is.
Kan me het argument goed voorstellen om niet teveel opties toe te willen voegen aan de beginopties, maar ik denk dat het kunnen kiezen tussen wel of geen jokers in de draaistapel het voor veel mensen wel leuker maakt. Ik vind de optie van het toevoegen van jokers een hele interessante en het maakt het spel toch op bepaalde momenten leuker doordat je gedwongen wordt om een hand te spelen. Echter, is het ook prettig als je het zou willen spelen zonder deze optie, dat die mogelijkheid er is.
Ik vind het in ieder geval een hele goede zet van jullie op BGA om Klaverjassen toe te voegen, dus mijn complimenten daarvoor. Het liefst zie ik een speloptie met wel of geen jokers, maar ik zal Klaverjassen hoe dan ook blijven spelen.
Succes met de verdere ontwikkeling van de Beta en nogmaals dank voor de snelle reactie en uitleg!
Als bevestiging van bovenstaande is het bij ons in de regio gebruikelijk om zonder jokers te spelen. Dat is niet alleen met ons spelgenootschap, maar bijvoorbeeld ook in de kroeg en op de voetbalvereniging. Zoals het voor jou de speelvreugde verhoogd, zo voelt het voor ons als een 'straf' om ineens verplicht een keuze te moeten maken en is het daarmee een ander spel dan wij gewend zijn te spelen.
Daarbij moet gezegd worden dat inderdaad de spelregels nergens uitgeschreven zijn. Het lijkt mij dan ook een uitstekende oplossing om de keuzeoptie toe te voegen om met jokers te spelen. Op deze manier kan een ieder het volgens zijn lokale regelgeving met plezier spelen.
Sowieso vind ik het spel een prachtige toevoeging op het al uitgebreide aanbod. Dank daarvoor!
