I think the sideways board layout is not ideal for two reasons:
1) it takes a long time to find the cities. I can't use the hints on the cards - without tilting my head ;)
2) there is no single view that gives me the big picture of the whole board. I need to filter or scroll down to see all cities.
If there is not enough space to rotate the layout, I suggest to try the following to gain some space:
- move the region-labels from the side to the top or bottom of the cities.
- use numbers instead of cubes -

Report history
As for the hints on the cards -- those are meant for the board, not the BGA adaptation. If you want to find the airports on your cards, try the cards filter!
