The dice are represented by shapes with a letter, but in the log there is only text. When translated, the first letters don't always match anymore (e.g. "copper" becomes "koper" in Dutch), so this can be confusing.
Adding tooltips or using images in the log (preferably both) would solve this. -

For displaying the dice sides, is there any spot in particular you might like to see this?
Personally I'd just put up a button somewhere out of the way, perhaps in the player panel, that brings up a window with some essential information or just a small tooltip with what's in there now.
I think Welcome To does a good job with this: postimg.cc/gallery/sSGcVZV. You can open a game in progress to see how it works.
