This has happened to me in a game quite a few times (I think only in the arena mode). I select the crystal and the location, they both highlight, then the game moves on, and my placement has not been recorded. Usually, the crystal and target location are still highlighted. Playing the subsequent turn then 'resets' the selection, but the original move is lost. It usually then gives a message saying this move is not allowed.
