Detailed description
-
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if any.
Currently Swiss Tournament is using Buchholz / Solkoff (Opponent's point) as the first tie-breaker, however for Swiss Tournament with many rounds, it could be better to use Buchholz cut 1/2, (Opponent's point with the lowest 1/2 discarded) as the first tie-breaker. Also it is feasible to add other tie breakers such as head-to-head results between tied players.
On the other hand, head-to-head results between tied players can be added in Round Robin Tournament on top of Score difference as a tiebreaker.
I suggest adding these tiebreakers and let the tournament administrator to decide how many and which one to use, making it configurable. -

Report history
An odd number of opponents or a no-show do hurt the Buchholz score significantly (+0). In both cases the lowest score should be discarded.
Given that the pairing per se isn’t what it should be (cf. boardgamearena.com/bug?id=18203), it wouldn’t even be a bad idea to set this as the default tie-breaker.
