For multiple rounds, I wasn't able to play gemstones as it wouldn't place them for me. I kept clicking and double clicking etc. It took me a while to realize that I need to click the TOP PART of the card, not the middle (where the gemstone would go). As the whole card is highlighted, I find this somewhat confusing and unintuitive.
