It's really well done otherwise. :D
Or maybe you can just add a border around the cards the last player moved and/or otherwise make them stand out?
Tried to add drop-shadow or outline to highlight the last move.
However, it didn't work well, especially with blue outlines for card selection. I'll keep current setting.
