Hi,
at first thanks for your great work! This implementation is really incredible.
I have 8 years old son which loves this game. He has learned to play with Doomsday machine solo scenario and from watching my solo games.
Now we are playing competitive 2 player games on boardgamearena. But I suppose that it would be nice to set some sort of handicap for me.
So I can play at my full strength and it would be still fun for both of us.
The Alien Empires solitaire scenario adjusts difficulty in effect by modifying the alien empire econ income each turn, so I'd consider something like that may work nicely.
Basically just lower my income by defined amount specified as percentage than round it.
We can for example try to play econ income halved each turn. And we can adjust it simply based on outcome for the game.
I suppose that this is probably most simple way how to implement it in meaningful way.
Best regards
