Selecting a card to play and the card(s) to discard at the same time seems strange. In the first Tranquility game a play chooses a card to play and a location. Then selects the card(s) to discard before the move is completed. That seems much more intuitive.

Also, the order is the same in this implementation too:
Choose a card, a location to place the card (the card silhouette will be overlapped), then select cards to discard.
I experienced that in many other games.
On this game my experience is the opposite: players have thanked me when I pointed out to them the existence of this feature, because they too, like me, had more than once discarded two cards when they wanted to play one and discard the other.
