Detailed description

• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if any.
This is not implemented in most apps, but usually, when you play in real life you got the options to take the cards even if you defended and noone wants to attack futher.
Asked a lot of people from very different regions where Durak is native, and it seems, everyone played that way (not like the kinds of rules, that might be very regional) - but maybe you have a very different experience about that (?)
Most of the times one wouldnt want to take the cards, but it can be very important tactically like in 1-5% of situations. Maybe a checkbox (which is default off so the game is more fluent) could be implemented so one can use it, to not get forced to trash cards. -

Even you said 'This is not implemented in most apps'. There is a reason for that.
As I couldn't find this rule in most of rules documents and apps, this rule seems to be extremely local. Rejected.
Also: "If the defender is unwilling or unable to beat all attacking cards, he must pick up all the cards on the table—including all the cards the attackers pitched in—and incorporate them into his or her hand. At this point, the defense is abandoned. The defender may choose to abandon the defense at any point during the turn. This immediately ends the turn. The failed defender loses her or his turn to attack; hence the player to the defender's left attacks next."
en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Card_Games/Durak
this:"The defender may choose to abandon the defense at [ANY] point during the turn"
"The defender may choose to abandon the defense at any point [DURING THE TURN]".
"If, however, the defender has beaten all attacking cards, and no other players are willing or able to add more, the defender has triumphed. The turn ends, all cards on the table are discarded from play to a discard pile, and play passes to the left: the successful defender opens the next turn as the new attacker."
You made your choice, then the turn has already ended. Period.
