dodo
Dodo is a very simple game. Rules: Move a checker one cell directly or diagonally forward to an unoccupied cell.
If you can't move, you win. Dodo's simplicity is deceptive. It's a hard game. It's also a very fair game.
In 10,000 random plays, Player 1 won 50.5% of the time.
If you choose the Misere option, the goal will be the opposite. If you can't move, you lose.
Thanks to Tisaac for his invaluable assistance in programming Dodo. As well, Sunil Patel helped with the initial design
strategy, and the BGA developer community helped me resolve errors.
The checkers in Dodo are photos of nail lacquer poured into dishes, taken from different angles to capture reflections
of natural light, clouds, and shadows.
