It is giving the option to play an event card, but that event is in another players' hand. I am unable to discard.

I have reloaded the page, and it is still appearing.

Update to my earlier report: I used the "Event" which was someone else's hoping I'd then be able to reduce the number of cards in my hand. I am still unable to do so.
